M2 owners and Miata Club members -
  I will be starting a complete tear down and then build-up of a new audio 
system in a Miata (M2)this weekend.
  I wanted to let everyone know that I'd be doing this "driveway install", 
Friday and Saturday if anyone is curious as to what is behind and under all 
the panels in the M2's (I have an '01). I'll take pictures and make them 
available as well, for those who can't make it.
  I will start with installing new door speakers and connecting an amplifier 
in the trunk, as well as constructing a custom amp rack in the spare 
tire-well. Depending on the time frame and UPS delivery schedule,etc. I plan 
on constructing a custom subenclosure under the rear deck between the fuel 
tank and the trunk. This may serve to be the more interesting part, however 
may come at a later date.
  The plan for Saturday is to get the new door speaker separates installed 
and playing and build a functional Amp rack, cosmetics to come later.

If anyone in the Tallah. area is interested and would like to stop by, I
will be working on it most of the day Friday and Saturday, occasional trips 
to Home Depot & Lowes aside. Interested enthusiast can email me or chat with 
me Thursday night for directions and/ or specifics on the system.
