• 6/5/01: If you're looking for a Miata MX-5 model, I found them at Ben Franklin Crafts for $18.95. It takes about two hours to put it together. It looks pretty neat. (Roger)
• 6/5/01: I have a set of Konig Villain aluminum wheels with tires that should fit the Miata's four lug bolt pattern. They are 17-inch by 7inch alloys, mounted on almost new 215/40HR17 tires, (almost=2500miles). 17's will fit a Miata without modifications to suspension, however lowering springs are recommended. • 5/28/01: Andi and Chris, I've reluctantly decided to sell my 10th Anniversary Miata, and a friend suggested I contact your club to see if you accepted classifieds in your newsletter. I love the car, but I bought it for my wife - and I've ended up the primary driver (I'm six-foot-three)and it's making a bad back problem worse. If you have paid classifieds that would be great; if not, if you know anybody in the market for one I would be most appreciative... The car is loaded, of course; garage kept, has 11,700 miles and has never been smoked in, eaten in, or even had children on-board. I'm looking to get about $19,500 out of it (not make a killing - from the research I've done that looks like just under fair market value). • 5/23/01: Free for paid-up club members! 1990-1997 Saratoga saddle bags for the inside of the trunk lid. Not suitable for heavy items of course, though the spring that keeps the lid up can be adjusted. Or you can install a strut. See http://home.flash.net/~duetto/catalog.htm. Silver logo. These were briefly on Leon's Miata, but interfered with a piece of carry-on luggage he is using. You will have to provide your own replacement double-sided tape to put them on. Leon
