MM Marketing Rear Window Protector
Protects the plastic rear window from scratches when the top is down.
Installation
The protector consists of two sewed together black "towels"
that snap into the five buttons on the deck that attach to
the boot cover. The tops of the buttons in the protector
accept the boot cover, so there is no loss of support for it.
Unfortunately, the outermost buttons in the protector are too close
together, putting stress on the entire thing and causing the boot
cover to develop unsightly bulges. I fixed this by cutting holes in the
protector (essentially, cutting the fibers under the most strain.
This fixed the bulges.
Evaluation
It worked and was less bothersome than the two loose black towels I
used before I had the protector.
However, I since replaced my rear window by a glass one, so I no
longer need one!
