Mazda R-edition Springs
Two rear springs from the 1996 R-edition Miata, used to lower
the rear of Bozo. Bozo was higher in the rear than in front,
which I did not like. I did not want to sacrifice comfort, though.
Mark Petry suggested the use of R-springs to lower the tail
about half an inch without changing the spring constant.
Installation
I had them installed by a body shop (while I was having
a ding repaired). Alignment was not affected.
Evaluation
The car looks a lot better in my eyes with the bottom more level.
I did not notice any difference in comfort, and behavior could
actually be slightly better when I add power in a corner.
Anyway, I am happy.
