Davenport is a small and not very exciting city. I spent the night at the Davenport Motel. A good motel, though I had to pay cash or check, no credit cards accepted. So I paid cash. Not a good idea, because the next day I discovered that I had lost my ATM card. Drove back to Davenport, but I had not left it in the motel. Never got it back. Fortunately, I could take up cash with my Visa card. Did lose a few hours driving back and forth and reporting the card missing.

I had dinner at the "San-La Thai". Very good chili-pepper fried rice and Thai iced tea. Cheap too.

The place I had breakfast, north of main street and attached to a bar, served spoiled orange juice. Stay clear.
