Five Miatas (Fred and Carol, Mel and Lynn, Jim and Laurelyn, Roger and Ellen-Ann, and Leon,) were off to the Florida Caverns in Marianna. It was a hot day; some tops went up (No, I am not telling which ones.)
After a very good but quick picnic, it was off into the caverns to cool down a bit (66F year round.) Very interesting to see how nature and time shaped these caverns.
I think the pictures below look even more dramatic than the actual cave. They keep the cave fairly dark, a condition under which our eyes mainly see grey tones. The pictures, (flash illuminated), show how the interior would look under daylight. (Of course, without human light almost all of the caves would be absolutely dark.)
