Jody Miller tried to replace the timing belt on a 1992 Miata. The
timing belt has to be replaced every 60k miles, a fairly expensive
maintenance item. A handy owner can do it him/herself. If you wanted
to watch Jody do it, (curse at the crank shaft bolt,)
you could contact him for when and where. If
I had a
1990 or
early 1991 Miata, I would change the timing belt myself.
More info about that.
If you want still more, ask Roger.
