Colorado in early May is a symphony in pastel. But also in Colorado, my fear of heights got the better of me a few times.

After driving through beautiful downtown Denver to drop off my lifter, I made a long rush along Interstate 70, spending a night in Burlington. The next day I drove practically nonstop through Kansas and Missouri until I reached St. Louis and the Missisippi.
