On Friday, I went up the Blue Ridge Parkway from Cherokee to Roanoka. I made a stop at Blowing Rock, to see, yes the Blowing Rock. Winds at the rock tend to be upwards, carrying small items up. Not quite clear to me, but the place did have a great view. I had dinner at Applebee's and stayed at the Best Western, Valley View.
