I followed Skyline Drive, seeing one black bear. He was clambering over a low roadside wall when I drove past, obviously intent on crossing the road. I pressed the horn while passing him, which scared him off, I think. (There were more cars begind me.) Since Bozo has a stock horn, it makes you wonder what airhorns would have accomplished.

Animals really seem to like Bozo. Yesterday, three deer crossed the road just in front of Bozo. One even seemed indignant to have to hurry up for this car.

From the end of Skyline drive, Bozo and I went up 340 to Frederick. The last was not my intention; apparently my GPS also has a limit on route points. Sigh. US 340 is as bad as an Interstate, but at least I made some progress toward Canada.
