I followed the Fleuve St. Laurent south bank east through Quebec along 132. The traffic was extremely busy, probably because it was a glorious Sunday. In any case, the road was still very scenic, with frequent views of the St. Laurent.

Beyond Mont-Joli, I could see the fog coming in from the sea. I tried to take a picture of it, without much success. Soon, the fog became very dense, making further driving futile. So, I got a motel room in Matane, in the Riotel recommended by Frommer's "Canada".
