Yesterday evening, I suddenly realized that I have only a week left before I have to be back at R-Speed in Atlanta. So figuring that going back and forward to New Foundland and visiting it would take three days, I regretfully had to give it up.
Instead I started my return trip. To gain some time, I raced through 104, Nova Scotia's version of an Interstate, with my Oris windstop, windows up and CD playing. Then a girl who was both pretty and intelligent (since she drove a white Miata) told me that this road was full of police. So I raced somewhat less.
I was glad to reach the New Brunswick Fundy Coast, of course, after all that highway. I visited both Cape Enrage as well as the Hopewell "flowerpots:" ground eroded until only free-standing columns were left. Some fun roads lead up to Cape Enrage, incidentally.
