Today I handed my car to R-Speed to have the power steering rack replaced with a manual one. And to fix a coolant leak I had. While they were doctoring, I used the opportunity to go to Atlanta with the intention of visiting the High Museum of Art. This, however, turned out to be closed on Mondays. So I ended up at the Peachtree Center and having lunch at the top of the 72 story Westin Hotel at the revolving restaurant there.
When I got back to R-Speed, they had run in a number of problems with the installation of my supercharger. Not all my fault, BTW; some go back to the original installation and/or dealer service, though my earlier "fixes" might have made things worse here and there. I am glad that R-Speed is finally setting things straight with the correct parts. They are extremely competent and conscientious. (I did hear them describe Bozo as "a Miata from hell" over the phone, though. But I guess having to reschedule other work might explain a certain peevishness. Especially since they already ran into lots of other small stuff that was wrong the first time.) In any case, it means that I need to spend an other night in Atlanta while replacement parts are being sent overnight.
No pictures. Sorry, I did not bring my camera. It was another beautiful, relatively cool and sunny, day.
