I drove through southern Tennessee and Alabama. Nice scenery, but not exactly undisturbed. The Alabama roads have mostly 65 mph speed limits, so I progressed well. I decided I might as well continue on home. Nothing in the lower half of Alabama and Florida is listed as scenic, and it is close to home anyway. I got home about 10:30, saving a hotel night. It was a nice trip, though a bit short.
