I first tuned Bozo on the Marietta DynoLab dyno for optimum fuel delivery under boost. Power increased from 140.7 hp to 154.4 by installing the Link ECU instead of the J&S knock sensor.
Then through Deal's Gap. Not a great success. I was caught top down in a heavy downpour right in the middle of the worst of Deal's Gap. Needless to say, Bozo and me got solidly drenched. After the worst of the hairpins was over and the rain had tapered down to a drizzle, I got stuck behind a column of motorcycles that were apparenty afraid they would fall off the mountain. They drove through every curve at 5 mph. So we got drenched some more.
I stopped at the Motel 8 in Sweetwater. Two beds, fridge, microwave, ice, all for $33. Time to get the web page for this trip started and also post the dyno results.
