Through Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana over mostly very scenic roads. At least two roller-coaster type drives where you constantly going up and down and through curves you cannot see until you are on them. One in an Amish type country, can't remember which number it was, think TN 52-51, another on IN 135 between Salem and US 50.

Route was TN 68 from Sweetwater to Crossville, US 70 W, TN 56, 53, 52, 51, all scenic, KY 163, 63, US 31 E, 61 blah to Elizabethtown, US 31 W, KY 144, 448 crossing the Ohio river, IN 135 to Nashville. Comfort Inn with great parquet floors.

Very hot though. Everything in the solidly filled trunk was extremely hot, except the wine and sherry in the cooler bag.
