From Lamar, CO, through Kansas. Last time I went through Kansas, I raced through it top-up on the interstate. This time I made a better choice by taking US 400. Large parts of it very pretty with colorful fields below a blue sky. Then KS 99 down to US 166. These roads are really scenic, and the temperature became bearable top-down. Hard to convey the athmosphere with pictures, though.

Anyway, I am at the end of Kansas and still not quite clear how to proceed from here.
